Moving soon? Whether it’s your home, apartment, or office, the secret to a stress-free move is proper planning. A well-organized moving checklist can save you time, money, and headaches. 🗓️ 2–4 Weeks Before the Move
1. Book Your Moving Company
Choose a licensed and reliable moving company (like EH Movers!) and lock in your moving date early, especially during weekends or peak seasons.
2. Sort and Declutter
Sell, donate, or throw away things you no longer need. This will reduce packing time and cost.
3. Notify Key Services
Inform DEWA, internet providers (Du/Etisalat), banks, schools, and any subscriptions about your change of address.
📦 1–2 Weeks Before the Move
4. Start Packing Non-Essentials
Pack things you don’t use daily (seasonal clothes, books, decorations). Label boxes clearly by room and category.
5. Arrange Parking and Elevator Access
Coordinate with your current and new building to reserve service elevators or parking space for moving day.
6. Prepare Your New Home
